Hardware Nest – Return & Refund Policy

Effective Date: 21/07/2025

1. Order Cancellations

Orders placed on Hardware Nest may be cancelled before they are dispatched.

  • Once an order is marked as "Shipped," it cannot be cancelled through the website interface.
  • To request cancellation, please email support@hardwarenest.in with your order number.
  • A 5% cancellation fee may apply to cover payment gateway and administrative charges.
  • Shipping charges (if already incurred) are non-refundable.
  • Exceptions:
    • Graphics cards, processors, pre-built PCs, and special order items (e.g., pre-orders, promotional stock) are not eligible for cancellation once the order is confirmed.

2. Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

  • The product is defective, damaged, or not as described.
  • The return request is raised within 48 hours of delivery.
  • The product is in original condition, unused, and returned with:
    • Original packaging (box, foam, anti-static bags)
    • All bundled items (cables, manuals, software)
    • Invoice, Packaging and Warranty Slip

Not Eligible for Return:

  • Products with Damaged Packaging, missing parts, or tampered security seals
  • Opened processors, SSDs, HDDs, GPUs, RAM, or thermal paste
  • Clearance stock, combo offers, or pre-order items
  • Gaming chairs, cabinets, and monitors once opened, unless dead-on-arrival (DOA)

3. Damaged / Defective Products on Delivery

If you receive a product that is:

  • Physically damaged
  • Missing components/accessories
  • Functionally dead-on-arrival (DOA)

Then:

  1. Notify us at support@hardwarenest.in within 2 days of receiving the item.
  2. Attach photos and unboxing videos clearly showing the issue and packaging condition.
  3. Our team will verify and may initiate a pickup or guide you for brand-level service center support, depending on the product type.
  4. Approved returns may be:
    • Replaced with the same product (if in stock), or
    • Refunded to your original payment method within 5–7 working days

⚠️ Returns without video/photo proof may not be accepted.

Replacement Time: Once Exchange/Replacements are approved, Items will be delivered within 5-7 Working Days

4. Refund Guidelines

Refunds are processed under these conditions:

  • You cancelled the order before shipping and it qualified for a refund.
  • The product was returned and verified as defective or wrongly delivered.
  • The brand was unable to provide a replacement or repair under warranty.

Refund Time: Once Refunds are Approved, Refund Amount will be credited to your bank within 5–7 Working Days
Method: Original payment method (UPI, Card, Bank transfer)

Deductions May Apply:

  • Cancellation/restocking charges: 5%
  • One-way shipping charge (if order was already dispatched)
  • Return shipping (if customer initiated the return without defect)

5. Warranty & Service

  • All items sold by Hardware Nest carry manufacturer warranty only.
  • For any defect after the return window, customers must approach brand-authorized service centers directly.
  • We will assist by providing:
    • Invoice copies
    • Serial number confirmations
    • Purchase proof for warranty claim

6. Important Notes

  • All returns and cancellations are subject to inspection and approval.
  • In case of disputes or unclear issues, Hardware Nest reserves the right to:
    • Deny a refund
    • Charge partial compensation
    • Return the product back to the customer
  • This policy is in compliance with e-commerce standards and hardware product protection guidelines.
